With a rich background spanning various facets of the fashion industry, my journey has been an exciting exploration of creativity and innovation. It all began at Ralph Lauren, where I honed my skills in the Women’s Buying Office, learning the intricacies of the retail buying process, product selection and market analysis. My passion for the industry led me to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), where I delved into the world of advertising, mastering the art of brand promotion and communications.
However, it was my role as the Southeast Merchandising Manager at LVMH/Donna Karan International that truly ignited my love for fashion. Here, I developed a keen eye for merchandising strategy and fostered meaningful relationships within the fashion community.
Several years ago, I embarked on a new adventure, transitioning into marketing and talent representation as the Managing Director of The Spin Style Agency. At the agency, I have had the privilege of nurturing and guiding the careers of talented stylists in Atlanta, representing a diverse range of talent in fashion, hair & makeup, props, food & art/creative direction.
As Managing Director, I take pride in creating impactful partnerships with our clients to produce captivating visual content. From negotiating contracts to overseeing photo shoot productions, I thrive on collaborating with production agencies to bring our creative visions to life.
As I reflect on my personal journey, I realize that it is so much more than what I do - it’s who I am & what makes me happy. I’ll be forever grateful for the wealth of fashion wisdom accumulated over the years, neatly tucked away like treasures in my impeccably “tailored black cigarette pants” but this part is about nurturing growth & happiness in a different direction.
