Life as I know it...
Fashion didn't just shape my career…it shaped me. It all started at Ralph Lauren many yeas ago, where I fell in love with the art of buying; learning the nuances of product selection, market analysis & what it truly means to create a women’s fashion collection. From there, I went to Women's Wear Daily where I landed headfirst into the editorial world at the intersection of brand advertising + communications, learning & understanding the fashion industry as a whole.
But it was my years as the Southeast Merchandising Manager at LVMH/Donna Karan International that really shaped my perspective on fashion. Partnering with major retailers like Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, I developed a deep appreciation for the luxury business, the strategy behind it & the relationships that make it all work.
A few years ago, I took a leap - stepping into the role of Managing Director at The Spin Style Agency, a boutique creative agency here in Atlanta. And what a ride it's been. From negotiating contracts to overseeing productions for brands like Adidas, Spanx and MailChimp, I get to do what I love every single day…connecting talented creatives with brands to create beautiful imagery.
But this space is not my resume, but about me & the in-betweens in my life…
